Since 1995, The Crawdad Hole has served Jackson's very best boiled crawfish and Cajun seafood. Mr. Joe Schowah started by selling boiled crawdads from a single-room take-out. Simple, hot, and done right.
Word spread fast. Folks started asking for more, so Mr. Joe expanded the pots, bringing in Gulf shrimp and crab legs, boiled with the same Cajun seasoning, corn, and taters. What began as crawfish-only grew into Jackson’s favorite seafood boil.
Today, from our Jackson, MS spot on Lakeland Drive, we welcome thousands of customers every week and have boiled millions of pounds of crawfish over the decades. Eat in or take it to go.
